%X El presente art¨ªculo analiza las formas de intervenci¨®n estatal en el per¨ªodo previo a las reformas y las transformaciones que se fueron produciendo desde 1980 hasta la actualidad. Posteriormente se plantea el impacto de estas reformas en los sistemas de bienestar y, fundamentalmente en el mercado laboral. El art¨ªculo concluye con un an¨¢lisis sobre las formas que ha adoptado la ciudadan¨ªa en Am¨¦rica latina a partir del proceso de reformas estructurales. The present article analizes the forms of state intervention before structural reforms and the transformations that have occurred from 1980 to present. It also describes the impact of such structural reforms on the welfare systems and the labour market, and, concludes with an analysis of the different forms of citizenship existing today in Latin America.
