%X Regarding the transformations produced by the housing projects for the Olympic Games, the construction and following reuse of the Olympic Villages is an interesting studying matter. During the hundred-year-old history of the modern Olympics the realization of the Olympic Village, which finds reference in the de CoubertinĄŻs writings, and the town planning transformations, to this correlated, have revealed in different ways. The essay mainly concerns the origins of the Olympic Village and the first settlements which characterized the Games in the thirties: Los Angeles 1932 and Berlin 1936. In these two cities, even though with different motivations, politico-economical stimulus and different images, the prototypes of the modern Olympic sport facilities, which find in the village an in the stadium the symbol of the event, were born. NellĄŻambito delle trasformazioni generate dagli interventi per le Olimpiadi la costruzione ed il successivo riuso dei Villaggi Olimpici costituisce un interessante caso di studi. Nella centenaria storia delle Olimpiadi moderne la realizzazione del Villaggio Olimpico, che trova riferimento negli scritti di de Coubertin, e le operazioni di trasformazione urbanistica ad esso correlate si sono manifestate in modi diversi. Lo scritto si concentra sulle origini del Villaggio Olimpico e sulle prime due realizzazioni che caratterizzano i Giochi degli anni trenta del novecento: Los Angeles 1932 e Berlino 1936. In queste due citt¨¤, sia pur con motivazioni, spinte politiche, economiche ed immagini diverse, nascono i prototipi dei moderni impianti sportivi olimpici che trovano proprio nel villaggio e nello stadio il simbolo della manifestazione.
