%X Apr¨¨s avoir ¨¦t¨¦ principalement utilis¨¦es en g¨¦ographie urbaine, puis quelque peu mises de c t¨¦ par les g¨¦ographes, les cartes mentales font d¨¦sormais l¡¯objet d¡¯un regain d¡¯int¨¦r¨ºt, en particulier dans le champ de la g¨¦ographie de l¡¯environnement. Appliqu¨¦es ¨¤ l¡¯espace littoral et employ¨¦es en compl¨¦ment de l¡¯entretien, elles se r¨¦v¨¨lent ¨ºtre non seulement un bon outil de recueil des repr¨¦sentations spatiales, mais aussi une aide pr¨¦cieuse pour leur analyse. Cet article s¡¯appuie sur l¡¯exemple de l¡¯utilisation des cartes mentales dans le poster scientifique Des ing¨¦nieurs de plus en plus   verts  . ¨¦volution du regard des ing¨¦nieurs en charge de la gestion du littoral n¨¦erlandais, laur¨¦at du concours organis¨¦ par le forum de l¡¯¨¦cole Doctorale de G¨¦ographie de Paris de 2011. After having been mainly used in urban geography, then cast aside by the geographers, mental maps are now the object of renewed interest, particularly in the field of environmental geography. Applied to the coast, and used as a supplement to the interview, these maps are not only of great assistance in collecting spatial representations, but also helpful in analyzing them. This article uses the example of the integration of mental maps in the scientific poster ¡°Des ing¨¦nieurs de plus en plus ¡°verts¡±. ¨¦volution du regard des ing¨¦nieurs en charge de la gestion du littoral n¨¦erlandais¡±(Engineers are ¡®greener and greener¡¯.
