%X El objetivo de este trabajo fue obtener par芍metros hematol車gicos en poblaciones silvestres de comadreja overa Didelphis albiventris de la regi車n centro de la Argentina. Se capturaron 39 individuos, a todos ellos se les realiz車 un recuento total y diferencial de c谷lulas sangu赤neas. Los valores promedio (㊣ desv赤o est芍ndar) obtenidos fueron: eritrocitos 5,01 (㊣2,4) ℅ 10(6)米L-1; leucocitos 27.097 (㊣14.313) 米L-1; neutr車filos 7.600 (㊣7.097) 米L-1 (incluye inmaduros, 794 (㊣2.738) 米L-1); linfocitos 13.110 (㊣7.541) 米L-1; bas車filos 1.218 (㊣1.441) 米L-1; eosin車filos 1.983 (㊣2.458) 米L-1; y monocitos 2.321 (㊣2.818) 米L-1. La existencia de asociaciones entre estos par芍metros y factores ambientales (estaci車n) y del animal (sexo y edad) fue evaluada mediante regresi車n lineal multivariable. Se estableci車 que los neutr車filos estuvieron significativamente asociados a sexo (p=0.006). Los machos ten赤an la mitad de los niveles de neutr車filos que las hembras. Los eosin車filos estuvieron asociados a la estaci車n. En verano hubo significativamente m芍s eosin車filos que en invierno (p=0.042). En los extendidos sangu赤neos se observaron alteraciones morfol車gicas de eritrocitos en aproximadamente 55% de las muestras analizadas, las m芍s habituales fueron pilas en monedas y estomatocitos. Tambi谷n se visualiz車 un tipo celular no descripto anteriormente para esta especie, leucocito anular. The objective of this study was to assess haematological parameters in free-ranging white-bellied opossums (Didelphis albiventris) in the central region of Argentina. Total and differential blood cell counts were conducted in thirty-nine captured individuals. The mean (㊣ standard deviation) values obtained were: erythrocytes 5.01 (㊣2.4) x 106米L-1, leukocytes: 27,097 (㊣14,313) 米L-1; neutrophils 7,600 (㊣7,097) 米L-1 (including immature neutrophils: 794 (㊣2,738) 米L-1); lymphocytes: 13,110 (㊣7,541) 米L-1; basophils: 1,218 (㊣1,441) 米L-1; eosinophils: 1,983 (㊣2,458) 米L-1; monocytes: 2,321 (㊣2,818) 米L-1,. Multivariable statistical analysis showed that neutrophils were strongly associated with sex (p = 0.006). The levels of neutrophils in females doubled that of males. Eosinophils were associated with season. In summer there were significantly greater eosinophils levels than in the winter (p = 0.042). Morphological alterations of erythrocytes were observed in approximately 55% of the blood samples, most of which were stomatocytes and rouleau. A cell type not previously described for this species, annular leukocyte, was also found.
