The role ofordinator is a position traditionally filled by medical practitioners. In analyzing thecompetences vested in this group, the author took into account two components, namely knowledge and interpersonal skills. These are traits that can be improved, interms of both personality and professional skills, however improvement ofpsychological traits is difficult, since it is economically unprofitable. Experience isgained only in the performance of managerial functions. Medical practitioners who didnot hold and did not perform any executive functions in hospitals were analyzed. Theauthor's intention was to examine whether doctors have the characteristicscorresponding to the management of medical organizations. For this purpose, theresearcher conducted additional research in a group of health care managers with atleast 10 years of experience in managerial positions, and education in economics. %K Managerial Knowledge %K interpersonal skills %K Hospital %K Doctor %K management professionals %K Manager %U http://www.magnanimitas.cz/ADALTA/0202/papers/A_kesy.pdf
