%X Public health protection is a complex and multidisciplinary issue. It isrelated, inter alia, to the process of environmental impact assessment. However, thereare gaps in relevant legal regulation from the viewpoint of health risk assessment.Although the technologies using renewable energy are considered having benignenvironmental consequences, some projects can have negative impacts on humanhealth. These effects must be taken into consideration by administrative authoritieswithin relevant procedures. Their decision-making may be influenced by publicparticipation when executing fundamental human rights.
