The significantly longer time of transport through esophagus compared to the control group (p¡´0.05%) was observed in the patients suffering from chronic bronchopulmonary disease. A frequent occurrence of antiperistalsis was found, especially in the lower and the central sections of esophagus, the retention of activity was observed rarely. (Gastroenterol.
