%X The literary works of a realistic spatial experiences living focused are an important resource for the geographical and historical reconstitution of concrete spaces and an essential record of your memory.The writer Miguel Torga has shaped in Di¨¢rio work records and experiences in the course of sixty years, constituting this a documentary source essential to reconstitute the structural traits of the organization and evolution of national space in the course of the 20th century, particularly the rural and mountain environments.Through an avalanche of experiences and thoughts materialized in notes, the Di¨¢rio allows to trace and monitor the dynamics, economic, social and cultural geographies of the writer's life, with a particular focus on human evolution of mountains in Portugal, as is the example of the Cordilheira Central, one of the largest geographical knowledge, affectivity and symbolism of the life and work of Miguel Torga.
