%X La distinci車n entre ※contexto de descubrimiento y contexto de justificaci車n fue trazada por H. Reichenbach para distinguir, entre otras cosas, la manera como realizan los descubrimientos en ciencia y la manera en que se justifican y aceptan. Tradicionalmente se ha argumentado (Reichenbach, Popper, Hempel, etc.) que s車lo el contexto de justificaci車nes filos車ficamente importante porque en 谷l se abordan cuestiones metodol車gicas y epist谷micas. Este art赤culo se limita a sugerir que estudios hist車ricos de descubrimientos cient赤ficos muestran que en el contexto de descubrimiento tambi谷n hay cuestiones metodol車gicas y epist谷micas relevantes. Hans Reichenbach was the first philosopher to draw the distinction between ※context of discovery and context of justification§, to distinguish between how scientific discoveries take place from how they are justified and accepted. Many philosophers (Reichenbach, Popper, Hempel, etc.) have argued that only justification is philosophically interesting, because in it there are methodological and epistemic issues involved. In this paper, it is argued that historical studies of scientific discoveries show that in the context of discovery there are relevant methodological and epistemic issues as well.
