Na taj na in obra ena a a postala je djelotvornija za uklanjanje iona nikla iz vodenih otopina. / The main objective of this work is investigation of the efficiency of chemically treated commercial carbon black and the non-treated one for the removal of toxic nickel ions from aqueous solutions. The treating process was performed by adsorption of organic acids on the carbon black. The obtained results have shown that the carboxylic groups of the adsorbed acids successfully modify the carbon black surface.
