%X O presente artigo pressup e que contextos cient¨ªficos se reduzem a contextos lingu¨ªsticos e que, assumindo uma tese wittgensteiniana, portanto, "o mist¨¦rio n o est¨¢ nas coisas; est¨¢ no confuso modo que adotamos para falar delas". Os pressupostos epistemol¨®gicos de tal tese fundamentam-se em quatro caracter¨ªsticas da raz o mesma, a saber, que: o exerc¨ªcio racional se faz mediante conceitos, at¨¦ certo ponto inexatos e vagos; os conceitos elaborados pela atividade racional constituem-se em categorias para o pensamento; a atividade racional ¨¦ discursiva, isto ¨¦, fixa-se, expressa-se e comunica-se por meio da linguagem; e, por final, o produto final da atividade racional s o os contextos racionais ou contextos cient¨ªficos que s o, na verdade, contextos lingu¨ªsticos. The present article presupposes that scientific contexts are reduced to linguistic contexts and that therefore, assuming a Wittgensteinian thesis, "mystery is not in things; it is in the confused way we adopt to talk about them". The epistemological presuppositions of this thesis are founded on four characteristics of reason itself: that the exercise of reason is done through concepts which are to a certain extent inaccurate and vague; that the concepts elaborated through rational activity are established in categories of thought; that rational activity is discursive, that is, fixes itself, expresses itself, and communicates itself through language; and lastly, that the final products of rational activity are rational contexts or scientific contexts, which are, in fact, linguistic contexts.
