%X Let X be a set of distinct points in ˇ°generic positionˇ± in P2k , k algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We describe the base locus for the system of curves of minimal degree passing through X, provided that the homgeneous ideal I(X) has a minimal set of generators containing ˇ°manyˇ± elements.
