%X Introducci車n El Centro de Rehabilitaci車n Integral Pedi芍trico "Sen谷n Casas Regueiro" fue creado en el a o 1999, en respuesta al reclamo de las familias con ni os con discapacidades f赤sico-motoras, residentes en el municipio Habana Vieja, de contar con un sitio, cercano al domicilio, donde estos pudieran realizar el tratamiento de rehabilitaci車n que requieren. Objetivos Conocer la percepci車n que las familias de los pacientes y los trabajadores tienen de la gesti車n del Centro. M谷todos El universo estuvo constituido por los trabajadores, los ni os matriculados en el Centro, y sus familias. Se determinaron las caracter赤sticas de salud de los ni os comparando la situaci車n al momento del ingreso al Centro y la actual, se hizo un estudio de diagn車stico del clima laboral con el 100% de los trabajadores y se aplicaron entrevistas estructuradas para conocer la repercusi車n que, seg迆n percepci車n familiar, ha tenido para los ni os y sus familias, su incorporaci車n al Centro. Resultados Las percepciones de los trabajadores y las de las familias acerca del Centro fueron coherentes entre s赤, y ambas se correspondieron con la valoraci車n de la evoluci車n cl赤nica de los pacientes realizada por los especialistas. Conclusiones Se demuestra que el Centro ha producido un impacto positivo en lo social, econ車mico y sanitario en las familias objetos de su trabajo y por tanto, en la comunidad. Introduction "Sen谷n Casas Regueiro" Center of Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation was founded in 1999 as an answer to the claim of the families with children with physical and motor disabilities that lived in Habana Vieja municipality and needed a place near home to receive their rehabilitation treatment. Objectives To know the opinion of the relatives of the patients and of the workers about the management of the center. Methods The universe was composed of workers, the children enrolled in the center and their relatives. The health characteristics of the children were determined by comparing the situation on admission and the current situation. 100 % of the workers took part in a diagnostic study of the working environment. Structured interviews were made to know the impact that the incorporation of the children to the center has had according to their relatives. Results The opinions of the workers and relatives about the center were coherent and both corresponded with the assessment of the clinical evolution of the patients made by the specialists.
