%X Se realiz車 un estudio descriptivo para analizar el desarrollo de la Enfermer赤a en la Salud P迆blica Cubana durante los 50 a os de la Revoluci車n. Se utilizaron los m谷todos te車ricos como el an芍lisis, la s赤ntesis y el hist車rico-l車gico. Se concluye que el desarrollo de la Enfermer赤a Cubana en el Sistema Nacional de Salud, le ha permitido ubicarse y avanzar como miembro de los equipos de salud para el intercambio interdisplinario y a su vez, un liderazgo que la hace paradigm芍tica en Am谷rica Latina y el mundo. La asistencia, la administraci車n y la docencia en enfermer赤a a partir del a o 59 han tenido un perfeccionamiento creciente, no as赤 la investigaci車n, por lo que su integraci車n y desarrollo completar赤a un modelo de atenci車n ejemplar para el pa赤s. A descriptive study was conducted to analyze the development of nursing in the Cuban public health in the last 50 years of revolution. Theoretical methods like analysis, synthesis and historical/logical procedure were applied. It was concluded that the development of the Cuban nursing in the national healthcare system has allowed this discipline to advance as a member of health teams for interdisciplinary exchange and, at the same time, to take a leading position that makes it paradigmatic in Latin America and worldwide. Assistance, management and teaching in the sphere of nursing have experienced an increasing improvement since 1959; however, the situation has not been the same in research. Therefore, the integration and development of research in this field would complete an exemplary model of care for the country.
