%X Ramon Llull wrote his Llibre de l¡¯orde de cavalleria under the influence of a time and a mentality strongly characterized for the socio-cultural medieval context. The article explains how to understand this work¡¯s implementation due to the quaternary phase of Ramon Llull¡¯s Art, with its virtues and sins; the 13th century geopolitical situation, especially everything connected with chivalry, and the chivalry¡¯s treaties done or known at that period¡¯s Kingdom of Aragon.
