%X Se aplic車 la vacuna ADN recombinante Heberbiovac-HB contra la hepatitis B a 2 grupos de ni os recluidos en 2 hogares de impedidos f赤sicos y mentales, a las dosis de 10 y 5 myg con el esquema 0, 1 y 6 meses para estudiar su inmunogenicidad, la que fue evaluada a los 2, 7 y 12 meses despu谷s de aplicada la primera dosis. A los 60 d se obtuvo 80,9 % de seroprotecci車n en los ni os que recibieron 10 myg, mientras que en el grupo que fue vacunado con 5 myg se logr車 65,0 % de seroprotecci車n y no se encontraron diferencias significativas entre los grupos. Cuando se midi車 la respuesta inmune 1 mes despu谷s de aplicada la tercera dosis se obtuvo 100,0 % de seroprotecci車n (3 10 UI/L) en los 2 grupos de vacunados. Al a o, la seroprotecci車n fue del 100,0 % para los 2 grupos de ni os. La media geom谷trica de los t赤tulos de anticuerpos (TMG) alcanz車, 30 d despu谷s de la segunda dosis en los 2 grupos de estudio, niveles por encima de 10 UI/L, que es el m赤nimo protector. Un mes despu谷s de la tercera dosis, los TMG alcanzaron valores de 527,7 UI/L en el grupo de 10 myg y 324,7 UI/L en el de 5 myg y no se encontraron diferencias significativas entre los grupos (p < 0,05). Finalmente, a los 365 d, los TMG se situaron en 139,7 UI/L y 57,3 UI/L en los grupos de 10 y 5 myg, respectivamente. Se demostr車 el alto poder inmunog谷nico de esta vacuna, lo que la hace recomendable para la protecci車n contra el virus de la hepatitis B en ni os impedidos f赤sicos y mentales. The recombinant DNA Heberbiovac-HB vaccine against hepatitis B was applied to 2 groups of children at 2 homes for the physically and mental disabled at doses of 10 and 5 mug with the scheme 0, 1 and 6 months to study its immunogenenecity, which was evaluated at 2, 7 and 12 months after the first dose was administered. On the 60th day it was obtained 80,9 % of seroprotection in children who received 10 mug, whereas in the group that was vaccinate de with 5 mug 65,0 % of seroprotection was attained and there were no significant differences between the groups. 100 % of seroprotection (3 10 UI/L) was obtained in the 2 vaccinated groups when the immune response was measured 1 month after the third dose was applied. A year later, seroprotection was 100 % for the 2 groups of children. The geometrical mean of the antibody titres (TMG) reached levels avove 10 UI/L, which is the minimum protector, in the 2 study groups 30 days after the second dose.
