%X Se construy車 una biblioteca gen車mica de expresi車n de Trypanosoma cruzi con la utilizaci車n como vector el pl芍smido pcDNA3, con la cual se inmunizaron ratones de la l赤nea isog谷nica BALB/c por v赤a intramuscular. Se emple車 un grupo control positivo al que se le administraron ant赤genos solubles de T. cruzi y otro grupo que recibi車 el pl芍smido utilizado para la construcci車n de la biblioteca gen車mica; un grupo no recibi車 inmunizaci車n. A todos los animales se les extrajo sangre del plexo retrorbital 2 semanas posteriores a la tercera inmunizaci車n, para estudiar la respuesta de anticuerpos espec赤ficos contra los ant赤genos solubles del par芍sito mediante la t谷cnica de western blot. Se obtuvo una respuesta de anticuerpos en los animales inmunizados con la biblioteca gen車mica de expresi車n y con ant赤genos solubles del par芍sito. An expression genomic library of Trypanosoma cruzi was built by using plasmid pc DNA3 as a vector. This library served to immunize by intramuscular administration BALB/c inbred mice. A positive control group to which T.cruzi soluble antigens were administered and other group which was given the same plasmid used for the building of the genomic library were included in this study; another group was not immunized. Blood was extracted from the retrorbital plexus of all the mice two weeks after the third vaccination so as to study the specific antibody response to soluble parasite anigens through the Western Blot technique. The antibody response was shown in animals immunized with the expression genomic library and with soluble parasite antigens.
