%X Se reporta para la cayer¨ªa noroccidental de Camag¨¹ey (cayos M¨¦gano Grande, Cruz, Romano y G¨¹ajaba) un grupo de insectos de importancia m¨¦dica perteneciente a las familias Culicidae, Blattidae, Muscidae, Tabanidae, Ceratopogonidae y Chloropidae. Cayo Romano exhibe al parecer las mejores condiciones ecol¨®gicas para el establecimiento de dichos vectores en atenci¨®n al n¨²mero de especies reportadas. The existance of a group of insect of medical importance belonging to the families Culicidae, Blattide, Muscidae, Tabanidae, Ceratopogonidae and Chloropidae was reported in the northwestern keys of Camag¨¹ey (keys M¨¦gano Grande, Cruz, Romano and G¨¹ajaba). Key Romano seems to have the best ecological conditions for the establishment of such vectors according to the number of species reported.
