%X Se present車 el caso de un paciente que desarroll車 un pioderma gangrenoso vegetante que concomitaba con una insuficiencia renal aguda, esto lo llev車 a un estado de gravedad extrema. El paciente recibi車 tratamiento inicialmente con antibi車ticos sist谷micos por considerarse el cuadro como una piodermitis, pero no se obtuvo una respuesta satisfactoria. Despu谷s fue tratado con Levamizol y alfa interfer車n, y se logr車 con este tratamiento mejor赤a de su estado general y de sus lesiones cut芍neas. Se realiz車 entonces ex谷resis quir迆rgica, con autoinjerto de las lesiones de la cara y el pene, con buenos resultados. Las lesiones pioderma gangrenoso fueron recidivantes, se trataron con prednisona y se obtuvo una r芍pida resoluci車n de las lesiones en cada ocasi車n que se presentaron. A case report was presented in which a patient developed vegetative pyoderma gangrenosum that was concomitant with acute renal failure; this led to the critical condition of the patient. He was initially treated with systemic antibiotics because his clinical picture was considered to be pyodermitis, but the response was unsatisfactory. After being treated with levamizol and alfa interferon, an improvement in his general condition and skin lesions was observed. Then surgical exeresis was successfully performed, with skin self-grafting in the face and penis lesions. Pyoderma gangrenosum lesions relapsed but they were treated with prednisone, and then there was a rapid elimination of lesions every time they came up.
