The quantitative studies included studies of manual processing of motor unit potentials, decomposition of the electromyographic signal, turns-amplitude analyses, and spectrum analysis. The results obtained by both methods were compared from the statistical point of view. There was a significant statistical concordance between the results of the quantitative and the conventional electromyographic methods in the study of neuromuscular diseases. %K Electromyography %K quantitative electromyography %K conventional electromyography %K neuromuscular diseases %K electromyographic methods %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0138-65572006000400004
