Namely,market competition has influenced a change in the enterprise¡¯sstrategy and its orientation towards a customer, as an imperativeof its business operations. In recent years, a process of integratingvarious management systems has been occurring, giving riseto the networking of several international standards aimed at creatingthe enterprise capable of meeting all customers¡¯ needs onthe market. Conforming to the changes on the market, the sectorof small and medium enterprises must comply with new businessconditions, which is a considerable effort for the entire enterprise.Namely, market requirements for safe and sound food,permanent enhancement of production processes, measurementof customers¡¯ satisfaction, concern for the environment, social accountability,etc., stand for just a part of characteristics that smeshave to possess in order to survive on the market.
