%X Se intent車 conformar un manual de traducci車n en lengua inglesa, bien pr芍ctico, para el personal de la salud que labora directamente con pacientes angloparlantes procedentes de pa赤ses de habla inglesa y que son atendidos en Cuba por la v赤a de la llamada "Operaci車n Milagro", as赤 como otros que son atendidos en distintas misiones internacionalistas. Es un proyecto preliminar que surgi車 de la reflexi車n y la experiencia pr芍ctica del servicio de traducci車n e interpretaci車n del Centro de Informaci車n de Medicina Militar del Instituto Superior de Medicina Militar "Dr. Luis D赤az Soto". Se encuestaron 50 trabajadores que incluyeron enfermeros, t谷cnicos y personal de otras categor赤as. De ellos 47 (94 %) consideraron que este manual les resultar赤a de gran utilidad para perfeccionar su trabajo, pues mejorar赤a sustancialmente la comunicaci車n de una manera elemental entre este personal de la salud y los pacientes en cuesti車n, lo que ayudar芍 a elevar la calidad de los servicios m谷dicos. It was intended to make a practical English manual translation for the health personnel working directly with patients coming from English-speaking countries that received attention in Cuba through the so-called "Miracle Plan", as well as others that are given medical care in different internationalist missions. It is a preliminary project that emerged from the reflection and practical experience of the translation and interpretation service of the Military Medicine Information Center of "Dr. Luis D赤az Soto" Higher Institute of Military Medicine. 50 workers, including nurses, technicians and personnel of other categories, were surveyed. 47 of them (94 %) conisedered that this manual would be useful to improve their work, since it would substantially facilitate the elementary communication between this health personnel and the patienets, which World increase the quality of the medical services.
