%X Se revisan algunos aspectos generales sobre las concepciones actuales de la vigilancia en salud y su aplicaci車n a nivel de la atenci車n primaria, con especial 谷nfasis en el papel del m谷dico de la familia en esta actividad en nuestro pa赤s, con el objetivo de mejorar la situaci車n de salud de su comunidad. Se describen elementos de su concepci車n, implementaci車n, los requisitos b芍sicos para el funcionamiento, los componentes b芍sicos as赤 como los atributos que debe cumplir en su evaluaci車n. : Several general features about the current concepts about health surveillance, and their application at a primary care level, are reviewed, specially emphasizing the role of the family physician in this activity in our country, with the aim of improving the health situation in the community. The elements of their conception, introduction, functional baseline requirements, and basic components, are described, as well as the attributes that it must fulfill in its assessment.
