%X Se realiz車 una revisi車n bibliogr芍fica de la literatura disponible sobre el enfoque terap谷utico del climaterio, hormonal y no hormonal. Se revisaron textos, revistas y monograf赤as comprendidas entre los a os 1990 y 1995. Coincidimos con los autores que plantean que la terap谷utica hormonal de reemplazo para las pacientes que mantienen 迆tero, debe ser del tipo combinado, con la adici車n de progest芍genos, y que los estr車genos de elecci車n son los conjugados, y el estradiol. La v赤a de administraci車n que se prefiere es la oral. Concluimos que es muy importante la atenci車n integral de estas pacientes y que deben conocerse los riesgos que implica la terap谷utica estrog谷nica. A bibliographic review of he literature available on the hormonal and non hormonal therapeutic approach of climateric was made. Texts, journals and monographies from 1990 to 1995 were reviewed. We agree with the authors who state that the replacement hormonal therapeutics for those patients keeping their uterus should be combined, with the addition of progestogens, and that the estrogens of election are the conjugated ones and estradiol. The oral route is preferred in this case. We conclude that is very important the comprehensive attention to these patients and that the risks of estrogenic therapeutics should be known.
