%X Se realiz車 un estudio transversal para identificar la satisfacci車n de los pacientes con la atenci車n m谷dica brindada en los Policl赤nicos Principales de Urgencia (PPU) del municipio 10 de Octubre. Para ello se aplic車 un cuestionario autoadministrado a los pacientes seleccionados. La muestra qued車 conformada por 328 pacientes. La satisfacci車n encontrada es menor que la esperada. Las insatisfacciones encontradas est芍n por encima de los l赤mites establecidos. Los elementos que guardan mayor relaci車n con respecto a la satisfacci車n fueron el ambiente f赤sico y el trato recibido por el personal que brinda los servicios de salud. Se recomienda realizar nuevas investigaciones y el an芍lisis de los resultados obtenidos en este estudio, con el fin de conocer c車mo marcha su funcionamiento y el nivel de satisfacci車n que se alcanza. A cross-sectional study was carried out to determine patient satisfaction with the medical attention received at the the Main Emergency Polyclinics (MEP) in the municipality of "10 de octubre". A selfadministered questionnaris was used with the selected patients. The sample was composed of 128 patients. The satisfaction degree found was lower than the espected, whereas the unsatisfaction observed was beyond the established limits. The elements most closely related to satisfaction were the physical environment and the treatment received from the health service personnel. It is recommended to make new research and to analyze the results obtained in this study so as to know how it works and the level of satisfaction attained.
