%X Se realiza un conjunto de reflexiones acerca de las categor赤as centrales que se deben estudiar cuando se trata de la relaci車n salud-enfermedad desde una perspectiva psicosocial, as赤 como acerca del desarrollo de t谷cnicas que contribuyan a la promoci車n de la salud en su sentido m芍s amplio. Se plantea la situaci車n actual de este tema a escala internacional y los postulados acerca de la atenci車n primaria de salud, expuestos en importantes cumbres mundiales realizadas en los 迆ltimos 10 a os. Se analiza la prioridad sobre los aspectos preventivos y promocionales de la salud que concede nuestro sistema sociopol赤tico actual, y que hacen realidad, en nuestro pa赤s, la declaraci車n de principios de todas estas cumbres. Se expone la importancia concedida por el sistema nacional de salud a la investigaci車n de los aspectos psicosociales del proceso salud-enfermedad, a la necesidad de aplicar el enfoque cl赤nico, epidemiol車gico y social en el diagn車stico y an芍lisis de la situaci車n de salud de nuestras comunidades. A series of reflections about the central categories that should be studied in connection with the health-disease relationship from a psychosocial perspective, and about the development of techniques contributing to health promotion in its widest sense are taken into consideration. The present situation of this topic at the international level, as well as the postulates regarding primary health care exposed at important world summit conferences held during the last 10 years are dealt with in this paper. It is analyzed the priority given by our sociopolitical system to the preventive and promotional health aspects, making possible that the declaration of principles of all these summit conferences come true in our country. It is also explained the importance garanted by our national health system to the research of the psychosocial aspects of the health-disease process, and to the need of applying the clinical, epidemiological and social approach to the diagnosis and analysis of the status of our communities.
