%X Se realiza una revisi車n relacionada con el climaterio y la menopausia donde se relacionan sus bases anatomofisiol車gicas con los diversos aspectos biol車gicos, psicosociales, sexuales y con las enfermedades cr車nicas no transmisibles y el c芍ncer ginecol車gico, en la que se resalta la necesidad de una atenci車n diferenciada y especializada, as赤 como integral, de estas mujeres, por la importancia que tiene mejorar la calidad y el estilo de vida para hacer prevenci車n y promoci車n de salud. A review concerning climateric and menopause is made and their anatomophysiological bases are related to the different biological psychosocial and sexual aspect and to non-communicable chronic disease and gynecological cancer. it is stressed the need of giving these women a diferentiated, specialized and com0prenhensive attention so as to improve their quality of life and their life style and to prevent diseases and promote health.
