%X Con el objetivo de caracterizar las relaciones familiares del adulto mayor, se realiz車 un estudio transversal y descriptivo, en el Consultorio M谷dico no. 3, del policl赤nico San Diego de los Ba os. El universo estuvo constituido por los 130 adultos mayores de dicho sector, y la muestra qued車 conformada por 80 de ellos. Prevalecieron las relaciones muy arm車nicas (40 %) y arm車nicas (30 %). Se encontr車 significativa la asociaci車n entre los niveles favorables en las relaciones familiares y el grupo et芍reo de 60 a 69 a os, as赤 como el estado ocupado y el nivel funcional III. In order to characterize the family relations of the older adult, a cross-sectional and descriptive study was conducted at the Family Physician's Office no.3 of the polyclinic of San Diego de los Ba os. Of the 130 older adults of the sector, 80 were included in the sample. The very harmonic (40 %) and the harmonic (30 %) relations prevailed. The association between the favorable levels in the family relations and the age group 60-69, as well as between the occupied state and the functional level III, was significant.
