%X Se hizo un estudio de 150 pacientes con crisis familiares, pertenecientes al 芍rea de salud del poblado de Boniato, en el municipio Santiago de Cuba. El funcionamiento familiar disfuncional predomin車 en los casos de familias extensas, la mayor赤a de ellas con estilo de vida nocivo. La familia y la pareja fueron las redes de apoyo m芍s utilizadas; raz車n por la cual se recomienda promover en la comunidad, mediante la valoraci車n de las din芍micas familiares, el uso adecuado de las redes de apoyo social como potentes amortiguadores del estr谷s. 150 patients with family crises from the health area of the village of Boniato, in the municipality of Santiago de Cuba, were studied. The abnormal family functioning predominated among the large families. Most of them had a noxious life style. The family and the couple were the most used supporting networks. Therefore, it is recommended to promote in the community the adequate use of the social supporting networks as powerful stress reducers by assessing family dynamics.
