Atabeg Aksungur al-Ahmad¨©l¨© ascended throne after thedeath of Atabeg Ahmad l and reigned in Mar¨¡ghah during a longtime. He made atabegness to the Tughril b. Muhammad Tapar andD¨¡vud b. Mahm d from the Seljukid maliks of ¡®Ir¨¡k. Heparticipated the throne struggles of the ¡®Ir¨¡k Seljukids. Also hebattled with Giorgians and atabegs of Azarb¨¡ij¨¡n.
