%X This article examines the establishment of occupational arts and crafts schools in Ayd n Province during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II. These occupational schools were mainly the industrial school, apprenticeship school, agricultural school, and school for gendarmerie, and school of language and commerce. Furthermore, the article analyzes the obstacles to establish these schools, their teachers, students, as well as their administrative structure.
