%X This study examines the provisioning and logistics problems of the Ottoman army during the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War and presents how the Ottoman Empire dealt with these problems. The failure of the Ottoman Empire to recruit soldiers and provide them with sufficient food, drink and weapons and ammunitions became one of the most important causes of the Ottoman defeat in this war.
