%X The 23rd meeting of the Clay Pipe Working Group was hosted by the art collection and museums in the Roman Museum in Augsburg. The more than 40 participants came from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Great Britain and the Tzech Republic. The meeting focused on new clay pipe finds, clay pipe trade and production, as well as on the political background of tobacco trade in Bavaria and neighboring areas.
