%X Dada la creciente incidencia y prevalencia de la infecci車n cr車nica por el Virus de la hepatitis c車nica C, con estimados de infecci車n de alrededor del 3 % de la poblaci車n mundial, se realiz車 una revisi車n bibliogr芍fica sobre los aspectos m芍s relevantes de la evoluci車n hist車rica que han experimentado las terapias antivirales utilizadas en el tratamiento de esta enfermedad. Se realiz車 una puesta al d赤a sobre esta tem芍tica desde sus or赤genes, con especial 谷nfasis en las perspectivas futuras de esta terap谷utica, actualmente en estudio por parte de la comunidad cient赤fica internacional. Para la realizaci車n de esta obra fueron consultadas 69 citas bibliogr芍ficas que incluyen metan芍lisis disponibles en MEDLINE desde 1998 hasta la actualidad, as赤 como las publicaciones de los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas en nuestro pa赤s sobre este tema. A bibliographic review on the more significant features of historical course experienced by the antiviral therapies used in treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C virus was carried out due to the increasing incidence and prevalence of this disease with infection estimates about 3% of the world population. A updating was carried out on this subject matter from its origins with special emphasis on future perspectives of this therapeutics, nowadays under consideration by the international scientific community. For the carrying out of present work 69 bibliographic references were reviewed including the meta-analyses available in MEDLINE from 1998 up to present time, as well as the publications of researches results performed in our country on this subject.
