Humans are accidental hosts, usually infected by handling an infected dog. The liver and lungs are the most frequently involved organs.A 24-year-old woman with pulmonary echinococcosis is presented. A computed tomographic scan of the chest revealed the presence of saddlebag cyst in the parahilar left lung. Laboratory test showed the presence of antibodies against Echinococcus granulosus.
