%T Perfil s¨¦rico de l¨ªpidos y apoprote¨ªnas A-I y B en pacientes sometidos a tratamiento hemodial¨ªtico

%X Se estudiaron las concentraciones s¨¦ricas de colesterol total (Col), triglic¨¦ridos (Tg), colesterol asociado a lipoprote¨ªnas de alta densidad (HDL-c), colesterol asociado a lipoprote¨ªnas de baja densidad (LDL-c) y apoprote¨ªnas A-I y B (Apo A-I) (Apo-B) en 101 pacientes con insuficiencia renal cr¨®nica terminal (IRCT) sometidos a hemodi¨¢lisis peri¨®dica y en 50 sujetos controles. Entre ambos grupos se encontraron diferencias estad¨ªsticamente significativas de todos los analitos determinados. Los pacientes agrupados seg¨²n la causa de IRCT mostraron un comportamiento similar, excepto aquellos con nefropat¨ªa diab¨¦tica que tuvieron las concentraciones m¨¢s bajas de Apo A-I. No se hallaron diferencias atribuibles a la presencia de enfermedad vascular en estas variables, ni correlaci¨®n de ¨¦stas con el tiempo de hemodi¨¢lisis. Serum concentrations of cholesterol (Chol), triglycerides (TG), high density lipoproteins-cholesterol (HDL-c), low density lipoproteins-cholesterol (LDL-c), and apoproteins A-I and B were determined in 101 hemodialysis patients with end-stage renal failure (ESRF). The results were compared with those obtained in 50 control subjects. Statistically significant differences of all the analytes concentrations were found in both groups. Patients grouped according to the etiology of ESRF showed a similar behaviour, except those with diabetic nephropathy who had the lowest concentrations of Apo-I. No correlation could be found between the duration of hemodialysis or the evidence of vascular disease and the variables determined.
