Developers needed to find efficient techniques to make addictive games without having to spend many resources to overcome the complexity of the art and music. The purpose of this research was to seek and define the importance of colour as one of many aspects in designing a game for consumers and how it contributed to intensifying their engagement in games. The results showed discrete proof on how players of a certain age have different colour perceptions. In order to stimulate excitement while playing the game, the study showed that colour could be used to convey information.
