Nowadays, after five years of field surveys for a regional atlas project, three other species have been recorded: Vertigo angustior, V. pusilla and V. substriata; the former three are still present. V. pygmaea seems to be very common, occurring in a fairly wide variety of habitats, however V. antivertigo and V. substriata are restricted to damp environmental conditions but occur in scattered localities all over Normandy. V. pusilla, V. moulinsiana and V. angustior are rare and highly localised. %K Vertigo genus %K Upper Normandy %K Lower Normandy %U http://www.journal-malaco.fr/documents/cochardetal_Malaco2_2006.pdf
