%0 Journal Article %T THERMAL CRACKING OF MIXTURES OF PLASTICS AND WOODY MATERIAL %A Martin Bajus %J Petroleum and Coal %D 2011 %I Slovnaft V?RUP %X This work aimed to study the recovery of two types of waste by the process of thermal cracking(copyrolysis). The obtained results show that the adding of plastic mix improves the overall efficiencyof the slow pyrolysis of woody material. Therefore, it was possible to achieve higher gaseous yieldsand less solid product than in the carbonization of woody material. The gas products had energeticcontents superior to that of producer gas, and the obtained solid fractions showed heating valueshigher than some coals. The obtained liquids showed heating values similar to that of heating fueloil.
