%X Resumen La fiesta patria durante la Regeneraci車n en Colombia, adquiere importancia  no s車lo porque es la representaci車n de una naci車n cat車lica en el pa赤s, acorde con el proyecto pol赤tico implementado por los conservadores, sino adem芍s, y lo m芍s importante,  porque cumple un papel de alquimia social, que transforma lo arbitrario en legitimo al  instaurar una rutina. Para comprender esta funci車n, la presente ponencia pasara revista de manera breve a los or赤genes de las fiestas nacionales en la regi車n, y posteriormente, se adentrar芍 en el  tema de la Regeneraci車n.   Palabras claves: Fiesta  republicana, regeneraci車n, alquimia social.   Abstract The national holiday during Regeneration in Colombia, becomes important not only because was the representation of a Catholic nation in the country, according to the political project implemented by the Conservatives, but also and most importantly, it plays the role of social alchemy, which transforms the arbitrary toward legitimate to establish a routine. To understand this function, this essay  briefly  review of the origins of national holidays in the region, and subsequently, will development  the theme of Regeneration.
