%X Uno de los problemas m芍s complejos en todos los pa赤ses que realizan actividades de ciencias e innovaci車n tecnol車gica, es organizar la evaluaci車n de la investigaci車n cient赤fica, la cual enfrenta un c迆mulo de problemas complejos y muy decisivos por naturaleza. Se hace imprescindible contar con elementos capaces de evaluar esta actividad, tanto desde el punto de vista de su efectividad o eficiencia como de sus posibles usos, con el objetivo de buscar una racionalidad de los recursos de acuerdo con los intereses del desarrollo. Se propone realizar este trabajo en la Industria Farmac谷utica cubana a partir de la evaluaci車n del desempe o de la Organizaci車n de Investigaci車n como entidad fundamental, en nuestro caso, el Centro de Investigaci車n y Desarrollo de Medicamentos (CIDEM). Se discuten los modelos de evaluaci車n, se hace hincapi谷 en el entorno socio-econ車mico de la organizaci車n, y se considera que el modelo de toma de decisi車n y el de goal-free son los m芍s efectivos para este tipo de trabajo. One of the most complex problems in all those countries that carry out acitivities in the field of sciences and technoclogical innovation is to organize the evaluation of scientific research, where a series of complex and very decisive problems due to their nature are faced. It is indispensable to have elements capable of evaluating this activity from the point of view of their efficiency and of their possible utlization in order to achieve a rational use of the resources according to the interests of development. It is proposed to carry out this work in the Cuban Pharmaceutical Industry starting from the evaluation of the performance of the Research Organization as a fundamental entity, in our case, the Drug Research and Development Center (CIDEM in Spanish). The evaluation models are discussed, making emphasis on the socioeconomic context of the organization. The decision-making and the goal-free models were considered as the most effective for this type of work.
