%X A partir de la extensa producci車n de art赤culos que se han publicado acerca de los estr車genos, el presente trabajo centr車 la atenci車n en el estudio del estriol, para lo cual emple車 la mayor informaci車n existente en el pa赤s de revistas y documentos de patentes, as赤 como de soporte magn谷tico. Se presenta desde que fue aislada la primera hormona estrog谷nica hasta la fecha, incluyendo los derivados de estriol, sus nuevas aplicaciones en el campo m谷dico y en la alimentaci車n animal. Based on the wide production of articles published about oestrogens, the present paper focused its attention on the study of estriol, for which it was used most of the information existing in the country in journals and documents of patents, and on magnetic support. Data since the first estrogenic hormone was isolated up to now, including the derivates of estriol, and its new applications in the medical field and in animal feeding are included here.
