%X Se realiz車 un estudio comparativo entre los perfiles de disoluci車n de 3 lotes de Aldomet  (Merck Sharp & Dohme), medicamento l赤der del principio activo metildopa (DCI) y de 3 lotes de metildopa 250 mg de producci車n nacional. Se utiliz車 un m谷todo espectrofotom谷trico para la cuantificaci車n del principio activo en los diferentes lotes, los cuales cumplieron con los criterios de la Food and Drug Administration (FDA) para los estudios de equivalencia in vitro, y a los datos obtenidos se les determin車 el mejor ajuste a modelos comunes para perfiles de disoluci車n mediante el programa CurveExpert. A comparative study was made between the dissolution profiles of 3 lots of Aldometa(Merck, Sharp & Dohme), a leading drug of the methyldopa active principle (DCI), and of 3 batches of methyldopa 250 mg of national production. The spectrophotometric method was used for the quantification of the active principle in the different batches, which fulfilled the criteria of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the in vitro equivalency studies. The best adjustment to common models for dissolution profiles was determined among the data obtained by using the CurveExpert program.
