%X Diversos estudios han planteado que los privilegios que el denuncio de bosques otorgaba a los mineros habr赤an provocado el deterioro irreversible del ambiente del Norte Chico. El presente art赤culo pretende relativizar esta tesis planteando que el paisaje era semi芍rido antes de la expansi車n de la miner赤a y proponiendo la hip車tesis que la discusi車n para derogar los denuncios fue un conflicto entre mineros y agricultores por definir la propiedad de los bosques, pero de los que se encontraban m芍s al sur. Several studies had stablished that the privilege that the claim or denounce of forests that have been given to the miners had caused the irreversible damage to the land of the Norte Chico. This article pretends to diminish this thesis, arguing that the lands was semi dry o semi desertic before the expantion of mines suggesting the hipothesis that the argument to stop with the claim was a struggle betwenn the miners and the farmers to define the property of the forets, but the ones further south.
