%X The article views students¡¯ assessment activities as a means of development of a person¡¯s cognitive and communicative potential and person¡¯s ability to further self-development and self-training. Structural and functional components of assessing activity (cognitive, communicative and regulative) determine assessment tasks as functionally coordinated actions of a thought, speech and language. These actions provide assimilation of language norms and generalized algorithms of the action.
