%X Se presenta un caso interesante de una ni a de 13 a os que acude a la consulta de Cirug赤a Maxilofacial por presentar asimetr赤a facial y bucal, adem芍s de referir diplopia y obstrucci車n nasal del lado de la deformidad. Despu谷s de realizar ex芍menes de laboratorio, radiogr芍ficos y tomograf赤a axial computadorizada (TAC), se lleva al sal車n de operaciones para realizar extracci車n del tercer molar superior izquierdo retenido en posici車n invertida, enuclear la extensa 芍rea radiol迆cida a los rayos X y radiopaca a la tomograf赤a y posteriormente se realiza estudio histopatol車gico. El diagn車stico definitivo corrobor車 el presuntivo (quiste dent赤geno ). La paciente evolucion車 de forma excelente; desaparecieron la deformidad facial y los dem芍s s赤ntomas preoperatorios. An interesting case of a 13 year-old girl comes to Maxillofacial Surgery consultation because she has facial and buccal asymmetry; she also refers diplopia and nasal obstruction on the side of the deformity. After carrying out laboratory exams, radiographic studies and computerized axial tomography (TAC), she was taken to the operating room to receive an extraction of the third left superior molar retained in inverted position, and to have retrieved the extensive rays- X radiolucid and radiopaque area at tomography and later on she underwent a histopathological study. The definitive diagnosis corroborated the presumption of dentition cyst. The patient evolved in an excellent way; her facial deformity and other preoperative symptoms disappeared.
