%X Se realiz車 un estudio descriptivo y transversal de 23 pacientes VIH/SIDA hospitalizados en el sanatorio "El Caguayo" del municipio de San Luis, Santiago de Cuba, en el primer semestre de 1997, con el objetivo de hacer un pesquisaje de tuberculosis pulmonar. Las edades m芍s afectadas oscilaron entre 15 y 34 a os, con predominio del sexo masculino. Los s赤ntomas m芍s frecuentes fueron: tos, expectoraci車n y febr赤cula. No se diagnostic車 ning迆n caso con la afecci車n antes mencionada, pero no obstante se aplic車 tratamiento quimioprofil芍ctico con isoniacida al total de la muestra. A cross-sectional and descriptive study of 23 HIV/AIDS patients hospitalized in  El Caguayo  sanatorium, in the municipality of San Luis, Santiago de Cuba, during the first semester of 1997, was conducted aimed at making a screening of pulmonary tuberculosis. The most affected ages ranged between l5 and 34, with predominance of the male sex. The most frequent symptoms were: cough, expectoration and febricula. No case with the afore mentioned affection was diagnosed; however, chemoprophylactic treatment with isionazide was applied to the whole sample.
