%X Este artigo intenciona mostrar como a linguagem ¨¦tico-religiosa ou rela  o social no pensamento de Emmanuel L¨¦vinas ¨¦ capaz de se opor ao discurso onto-teol¨®gico sobre Deus. Tentaremos primeiramente evidenciar os pressupostos atrav¨¦s dos quais L¨¦vinas concebe a linguagem ¨¦tica que se subtrai ao discurso objetivante ou ontol¨®gico gra as ao existir no aqu¨¦m do ser. Posteriormente, analisaremos a significa  o que a linguagem assume no pensamento do autor e sua cr¨ªtica ao discurso onto-teol¨®gico. Por fim, a investiga  o dever¨¢ mostrar que a hermen¨ºutica levinasiana se inscreve como ¨¦tica, plena de uma abertura ao outro, cheia de solicitude e que a gl¨®ria do Infinito, no dizer da linguagem prof¨¦tica, s¨® se glorifica na rela  o ¨¦tica, onde o homem ¨¦ sempre ordenado ¨¤ responsabilidade pelo outro homem: ¨¦ no testemunho da linguagem prof¨¦tica que a significancia de Deus significa sem cessar. This article intends to show how ethic-religious language or social relation in Emmanuel L¨¦vinas¡¯ thinking is capable of opposing the onto-theological discourse about God. First, we will try to show the presuppositions through which L¨¦vinas conceives ethical language that is taken from objective or ontological discourse thanks to the existing previous to the being. After that, we will analyze the meaning language assumes in the author¡¯s thinking and his critique to the onto-theological discourse. Finally, the investigation will demonstrate that Levinasian hermeneutics is ethical, full of opening to the other, filled with solicitude and that the glory of Infinite, in the saying of the prophetic language, can only be glorified in an ethical relation, where man is always led to responsibility by another man: it is in the testimony of prophetic language that God significance signifies eternally.
