%X O artigo exp e a autocompreens o da Igreja Evang¨¦lica de Confiss o Luterana no Brasil (IECLB). Depois de situar sua identidade a partir de sua Constitui  o, analisa os modelos de eclesiologia vigentes e a necessidade da continua  o do di¨¢logo ecum¨ºnico em vista, ao menos, da revoga  o dos an¨¢temas rec¨ªprocos. Finaliza com a abordagem do desafio do pluralismo em um mundo global para a IECLB. The article exposes the self-understanding of the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil (ECLCB). After situating its identity from its Constitution, it analyzes the existing models of ecclesiology and the need for a continuation of ecumenical dialogue in view, at least, of the revocation of mutual anathemas. It ends with an approach to the challenge of pluralism to the ECLCB in a global world.
