%X Se realiz¨® un estudio descriptivo y transversal de 30 ni os de 7-14 a os de edad, de uno y otro sexos, que padec¨ªan asma bronquial grado III e ingresaron en el Hospital Pedi¨¢trico "Juan B. Vi as Gonz¨¢lez" de Palma Soriano, provincia de Santiago de Cuba, durante el ¨²ltimo cuatrimestre de 1998, con el fin de determinar la efectividad del uso de la t¨¦cnica acupuntural en ellos. De ah¨ª se deriv¨® que dicha terap¨¦utica mejora completamente el cuadro cl¨ªnico de los asm¨¢ticos a partir de la tercera sesi¨®n de tratamiento. A descriptive and crosssectorial study of 30 children between 7 and 14 years old, of both sexes who suffered from 3rd degree bronchial asthma and were hospitalized at ?Juan B. Vi as Gonz¨¢lez? Pediatric Hospital of Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba province was carried out during the last four-month periodo of 1998 in order to determine the effectiveness of the use of the acupuncture technique in them. Hence ith was concluded that such therapeutic improves completely the clinical picture of the asthmatics from the third session of treatment on.
